Welcome to the Southern Cruisers Web Site!

We are happy to have you visit our Web Site! We went on line March 13, 2004.

The Statesboro Southern Cruisers Car & Truck Club was organized in 1990. The purposes of the club are: To promote fun and fellowship; To enhance local awareness of classic, customized, modified or vintage autos and trucks; and To promote the restoration and preservation of classic and vintage autos and trucks.

Membership in the club is open to all persons of good character and reputation who have a genuine interest in the purposes of the club. Ownership of a classic motor vehicle is not a requirement.

Southern Cruisers typically have two club activities a month. We have a monthly business meeting on the first Friday of each month. We also have a cruise-in which is held on the third Saturday of the month.

The club sponsors the Southeastern Regional Car and Truck Show every year in May. All proceeds are donated to a charity.

We are a group of people who share an interest in things automotive. Our members own a variety of cars built between 1930 and the present. Some of our members own motorcycles and trucks.

Many of our members are in the process of restoring various types of cars and trucks. Others own and drive classic cars, muscle cars, and street rods.

Upcoming Club Meetings

We hold our regular business meetings at Fordham's
Farmhouse Restaurant every First Friday at 6:30.

Upcoming Club Activities

We hold a regular cruise-in every third Saturday
from 7 to 9 PM. Members and fellow car enthusiasts
usually meet at Starbucks in the Statesboro Mall. We
occasionally cruise to other destinations.

June Cruise: Saturday, June 19

July Cruise: Saturday, July 17

August Cruise: Saturday, August 21

We hold a regular cruise-in on the Final Friday
of each month from 6 to 8 PM. Members and fellow
car enthusiasts usually meet at at McAlister's Deli
on Brampton Avenue. We occasionally meet at other
locations and cruise to McAlister's.

A portion of the register rings between 6 and 8 PM
are donated to the club for our local charity efforts.

19th ANNUAL AUTO & TRUCK SHOW

The 2010 Car Show was a tremendous success! We would like to thank all the people who brought cars to the show, all the sponsors who supported the show, the vendors who had displays, and all the people who attended the show. As a result of your support, we were able to provide significant support to a very deserving young woman and her family.
